An auxiliary material, which fluidizes the acrylic paint such a way that its color and covering does not decrease significantly. For Fluid painting the acrylic paint should be transformed to become easily fluidized and moved in order to allow the mixing and streaming of different colors. That way unique and diverse artworks might be created.

Recommended usage: Pouring medium can be mixed to the acrylic paint from 50 to 100 % quantity. Make sure that the different colors of acrylic paints are diluted to the same consistency! Some silicone oil could be added to the mixture of acrylic paint and pouring medium. This way special "paint cells” or "color cells" are formed. Add a few drops of Silicone Oil to the paint mixture and heat gently when poured onto your canvas or material your working on to create some amazing effects. Our Pouring Resin is beautifully formulated to flow and level by itself and create a thick high gloss finish. Creators can let loose their imagination and create beautiful pieces of art on wood or canvas or on furniture top surfaces. The best part of our Pouring Resin is that it works well with all of our Paint Couture Acrylic Mineral Paints, Lux Metallics, German Glass Glitters, Perfect Pigments and Pure Concentrated Pigments. To use or Pouring Resin with Paint Couture Paint or Lux Metallics simply add a few drops and then stir after stirring simply start pouring and let your imagination go wild. Once done pouring tilt your surface area around or use a silicone spreading tool create a desired look.

ADDITIONAL WAYS TO USE POURING RESIN

You may use the Pouring Resin as a topcoat. If you use as a topcoat you will get a very high gloss. You may use as a very thick decoupage pouring medium. If using in silicone molds you will not want to go over 1/16" in depth as shrinkage will occur and instead pour in thin layers. When using a fondant mold our Pouring Resin will achieve great results. You can add Paint Couture Glaze to create a toned stain look or simply add Lux Metallics to create a pearlescent look.

HOW TO USE POURING RESIN FOR PAINT POURS

Stir Pouring Resin before using. For best results use on a flat horizontal surface as our pouring resin is self-levelling. Use a silicone pointed spreading tool to create decorative designs and accents. Do not use a porous material to interact with your project piece once poured such as a paint stick, paint brush as this will have an adverse effect on your paint pour project.

Add color to your Pouring Resin by using Paint Couture Perfect Pigments or Paint Couture Pure Concentrated Pigments to achieve a lustrous or vibrant looks. Adding German Glass Glitter will add some brilliant sparkle due to the reflective natures of real glass. You can also use any of our wonderful Paint Couture Acrylic Mineral Paint, Lux Metallics, Sheer Metallics or Heavy Metallics to create a one of a kind amazing piece.

Please note that you do not want to add more than ten percent of paint to the Pouring Resin as this will have an adverse impact on the flowing ability of the Pouring Resin. The less paint used the better which is why we suggest Pure Concentrated Pigments or our Perfect Pigment products.

If you get bubbles tap the surface to help the bubbles settles. You may also use cool air to help the Pouring Resin flow along with tilting surface area in different directions if possible.

This decoupage rice paper from AB Studio is stunning and delicate to the touch. The beautiful colors printed on the decoupage rice paper will enhance your project. The paper composition is light weight.

You can use various kinds of mediums or varnish to adhere the decoupage rice paper, however we strongly recommend a quality decoupage medium such as Paint Couture Decoupage Medium Matte or Paint Couture Decoupage Medium Shine for use on any of the AB Studio decoupage papers. Remember that a high gloss varnish will enhance the colors.

It is recommended to use a white or light colored background color for the paper to be vibrant. Using other background colors will make it less visible. If you use sandpaper, be careful not to ruin the pattern as it is delicate.

Rice paper is a great material for beginners because it is translucent, elastic, and delicate to the touch. Decoupage rice paper by AB Studio is thin and very durable, yet it is also flexible and easy to apply to any surface without visible wrinkles. Apply just a little decoupage medium to your piece and then apply the decoupage paper. Apply a thin layer of decoupage medium on top of the paper. The paper will hold firmly to the project surface when using a decoupage medium. Some decoupage rice papers have fibers that are visible, but these do not affect the decoupage medium and are part of an original look.

AB Studio decoupage rice papers can also be used for scrapbooking, card making, collage, paper crafting, junk journaling, mixed media creations and much more.

When working with decoupage rice paper, the images should be torn away from the paper and not cut with scissors. Paint Couture Premium Plus 2-in-1 Primer is a durable water based Bonding and Blocking Primer formulated for interior and exterior use. The Premium Plus 2-in-1 Primer is designed to stick to surfaces without the need to degloss or sand and also protects lighter colored paints from wood tannins and bleed through. A second coat can be applied in one (1) hour if needed. Use Premium Plus 2-in-1 Primer on wood, existing painted surfaces, tile, fiberglass, PVC, glass, plastic, vinyl, concrete, masonry surfaces, galvanized metal surfaces and melamine laminates. Once dry, it creates an extremely hard film. There are many other products which may be used over Paint Couture Premium Plus 2-in-1 Primer, and we recommend you do a test sample prior to starting your actual work.

Application: Stir thoroughly or may be shaken. Be sure project items have been properly cleaned and clear of grease, wax, oily substances, dust, or any other contaminants. Use of Paint Couture Fresh Start Cleaner is recommended. Prior proper preparation is the key to successful adhesion. Apply Premium Plus 2-in-1 Primer with a good quality synthetic brush, foam brush, roller or use a sprayer. Allow one (1) hour to dry before painting or recoating a second coat of Premium Plus 2-in-1 Primer.

Clean up: Use warm soapy water.

Approximate Coverage:

18 square feet per 4oz (4 fl. oz / 118 ml).
35 square feet per 8oz (8 fl. oz / 236 ml).
70 square feet per Pint (16 fl. oz / 473 ml).
140 square feet per Quart (32 fl. oz / 946 ml).
525 square feet per Gallon (128 fl. oz / 3785 ml).

Caution: Use with adequate ventilation. Do not take internally. Close container after each use. Do not paint out of this container, but instead pour off what you need. Avoid contact with eyes and prolonged contact with skin. Avoid breathing spray mist. If accidentally swallowed, contact a physician or the local poison control center. Keep out of reach of children. Do not freeze. Use and store between 35°-90°F. Do not use in direct sunlight.
