Let It Snow!
Bring the beauty of freshly fallen snow to your next creative project with Paint Couture Snow Paste, a ready-to-use dimensional texture medium designed to create realistic snow, frost, and winter-inspired effects.
Snow Paste adds instant texture and dimension to your surfaces, making it perfect for Christmas décor, ornaments, signs, furniture accents, mixed media, decorative crafts, miniature scenes, floral projects, and seasonal home décor.
The versatile consistency allows you to control the finished effect. Apply a thin layer for a subtle frosted appearance, stipple it with a brush or sponge for freshly fallen snow, or build up heavier applications to create dimensional snowdrifts and textured snowy surfaces.
Add Some Sparkle with Sheer Frost
Want to take your snow effect to the next level? Pair Paint Couture Snow Paste with Paint Couture German Glass Glitter – Sheer Frost for a beautiful sparkling finish inspired by fresh snow glistening in winter light.
While the Snow Paste is still wet, lightly sprinkle Sheer Frost German Glass Glitter over the surface. The dimensional Snow Paste provides the snowy foundation while the glass glitter adds brilliant reflective sparkle and an icy finishing touch.
Use a small amount of Sheer Frost for a delicate shimmer or apply more generously for a dramatic, glittering snow-covered effect.
The combination is especially beautiful on:

-

-
Winter floral arrangements

From Soft Snow to Icy Sparkle
Create different winter finishes simply by changing your application technique.
For a soft freshly fallen snow effect, stipple Snow Paste onto the surface with a brush or sponge.
For dimensional snowdrifts, use a palette knife or spatula to build irregular peaks and ridges.
For a frosted effect, lightly dry-brush or dab Snow Paste along edges, raised details, greenery, branches, or decorative elements.
For an icy sparkling snow effect, apply German Glass Glitter – Sheer Frost over the Snow Paste while it is still wet.
For a heavily crystallized winter effect, generously apply Sheer Frost over raised areas of wet Snow Paste where natural snow and ice would collect.
Experiment with different application techniques to create everything from a subtle winter frost to a sparkling snow-covered wonderland.
Easy to Customize
Make your snow uniquely yours!
Paint Couture Snow Paste can be paired with other Paint Couture decorative products, including German Glass Glitter, Perfect Pigments, Lux Metallic Paints, and other decorative finishes, allowing artists and makers to create completely customized winter effects.
For the classic Paint Couture snow effect, we recommend pairing it with German Glass Glitter – Sheer Frost. Its sparkling glass particles add another layer of visual dimension to the textured white Snow Paste and help create the appearance of snow crystals catching the light.
Try concentrating Sheer Frost on the highest points of your Snow Paste texture. This helps emphasize the dimensional surface and creates beautiful highlights as light moves across the project.
Perfect for More Than Christmas
Although Snow Paste is ideal for holiday projects, its dimensional white texture makes it a versatile addition to your creative toolbox year-round.
Use it to create textured highlights, raised decorative details, mixed-media backgrounds, dimensional accents, winter scenes, frosted botanical effects, and other artistic textures.
From farmhouse Christmas décor and traditional winter scenes to elegant icy finishes and whimsical mixed-media creations, Snow Paste gives you the freedom to create your own look.
HOW TO USE
Apply Paint Couture Snow Paste to a clean, prepared surface using a palette knife, spatula, brush, sponge, or texture tool.
For subtle snow or frost, apply a light layer or gently stipple the product onto the surface.
For heavier snow effects, apply more generously and build the product into peaks, ridges, and irregular textures that resemble natural snow.
FOR A SHEER FROST GLITTER EFFECT
-
Apply Paint Couture Snow Paste to the desired area.
-
Create your desired snow texture using a brush, sponge, palette knife, or other tool.
-
While the Snow Paste is still wet, sprinkle Paint Couture German Glass Glitter – Sheer Frost over the desired areas.
-
Apply lightly for subtle sparkle or more generously for an icy, crystallized appearance.
-
Allow the project to dry thoroughly.
-
Once dry, gently remove any loose excess glitter and save reusable excess when practical.
Creative Tip: Try applying Sheer Frost primarily to the raised peaks and edges of the Snow Paste. This creates sparkling highlights while allowing some of the white Snow Paste to remain visible underneath, producing greater depth and a more natural snow-like appearance.
Drying time will vary depending on application thickness, surface, temperature, and humidity.
