Color Gilded Decoupage Paper by AB Studio

Color gilded decoupage from paper ABstudio Decoupage that can be used for scrapbooking, card making, collage.  Stunning and delicate Gold Touch decoupage papers with subtle dim colors and delicate touch of gold. The composition is light and weightless. Please remember that white background will bring the delicate paper color and the gold out, the other color backgrounds will make it less visible.  

Rice paper is the best of all types of materials for beginners because it is translucent, elastic and very delicate to the touch. Rice paper is thin and very durable and flexible, easy to apply to any surface of the object without visible wrinkles. Just a little glue to decoupage, and the paper will nicely hold the surface. On some rice papers, fibers are visible which do not interfere with gluing, on the contrary, the glass looks very original.  Decoupage AB Studio papers have irregular fibers on the surface.

You can use various kinds of varnish  for our color gilded AB Studio papers, just remember that high gloss varnish will enrich gold effect and mat varnish will give the gold a vintage style.  The gold does not wear away or crack when used with varnish.

You can use mists for our AB Studio color gilded papers, they will give a color to the paper but not to the gilding. When you use sandpaper, be careful not to destroy the delicate  pattern.  The color on the paper is more delicate and less saturated than in the picture. It gives less intense powder effect

This gilded decoupage paper from AB Studio is stunning and has a delicate gilded gold touch to it.  The subtle dim colors and delicate touch of gold will make your project look elegant and sophisticated.  The paper composition is light weight and the gold does not wear away or crack when sealed with a decoupage medium.

You can use various kinds of mediums or varnish to adhere the paper, however we strongly recommend a quality decoupage medium such as Paint Couture Decoupage Medium Matte or Paint Couture Decoupage Medium Shine for use on any of the AB Studio decoupage papers.  Remember that a high gloss varnish will enrich the gilded gold effect and a matte varnish will give the gold a vintage style.

It is recommended to use a white or light colored background color for the paper to be vibrant.  Using other background colors will make it less visible.  If you use sandpaper, be careful not to ruin the pattern as it is delicate.

Rice paper is a great material for beginners because it is translucent, elastic, and delicate to the touch.  Rice paper is thin and very durable, yet it is also flexible and easy to apply to any surface without visible wrinkles.  Apply just a little decoupage medium to your  piece and then apply the decoupage paper.  Apply a thin layer of decoupage medium on top of the paper.  The paper will hold firmly to the project surface when using a decoupage medium.  Some decoupage rice papers have fibers that are visible, these do not affect the decoupage medium and are part of an original look.

Gilded decoupage papers can be used also for scrapbooking, card making and collage.
