Some stories aren't written in books. They're woven into the fabric of generations.
Imagine stepping inside an old Scottish manor on a crisp autumn afternoon. A fire crackles in the hearth, the scent of aged wood lingers in the air, and a well-loved tartan throw rests across the arm of a leather chair. Beyond the windows, the Highlands stretch beneath a misty sky, but inside, there's a warmth that makes you feel as though you've always belonged.
For generations, tartan has been a symbol of heritage, identity, and connection. Its intersecting lines and rich colors carry a sense of tradition, reminding us that the things we treasure often hold stories far older than our own.
Teal Tartan brings that timeless character to life with a beautifully weathered Scottish-inspired plaid in rich shades of teal, muted blue, and earthy neutrals. Its softly aged appearance creates the feeling of a treasured textile discovered in an old country estate, elegant without being formal and wonderfully inviting.
This item ships flat and folded in a plastic sleeve. Any creases work themselves out during the decoupage process, or you can iron on low/medium dry heat on a flat surface--NO steam!
What Makes Our Tissue Decoupage Papers Unique?
The Tissue Decoupage Papers from Whimsykel Designs stand out due to the following distinct characteristics:
Sustainability: The tissue paper is made from 100% recycled materials, making it a responsible and environmentally friendly option.
Eye-Catching Designs: The use of a four-color digital printing process, complemented by an opaque white ink base, allows our eye-catching designs to come alive.
Limited Quantity: Each of our digital designs are exclusive and produced in smaller quantities, ensuring that each design truly becomes a unique work of art in the hands of the artist. Whether you're a seasoned furniture artist or crafter looking to add a special touch to your projects, our tissue decoupage papers are a perfect choice.
It is recommended to use a white or light colored background color for the paper to be vibrant. Using other background colors will make it less visible. You can use various kinds of mediums or varnish to adhere the paper, however we strongly recommend a quality decoupage medium such as Paint Couture Decoupage Medium Matte or Paint Couture Decoupage Medium Shine.
