Sometimes the most beautiful chapters begin in the moments between what was and what will be.
Along the windswept coast of Scotland, where the sea meets the sky and the horizon seems to stretch into forever, a woman stands quietly lost in thought. Perhaps she's waiting for someone she loves. Perhaps she's remembering a moment that changed everything. Or maybe she's simply gathering the courage to step into a future she has yet to imagine.
Only she knows her story.
Waiting captures that beautiful sense of mystery with its romantic, vintage-inspired portrait of a woman surrounded by a softly atmospheric landscape. The muted colors, painterly details, and timeless composition evoke the feeling of an old painting discovered in a Scottish manor, one that leaves you wondering about the life behind the image.
Imagine transforming an ordinary dresser into a piece that holds a little mystery of its own. Perhaps a cabinet in your bedroom becomes a quiet reminder of a journey you've taken, someone you've loved, or a dream you're still waiting to fulfill.
With Waiting, you're not simply decorating furniture. You're creating something deeply personal, a piece that invites you to see your own story within hers.
Because sometimes waiting isn't about standing still. It's about everything that's quietly becoming possible.
This item ships flat and folded in a plastic sleeve. Any creases work themselves out during the decoupage process, or you can iron on low/medium dry heat on a flat surface--NO steam!
What Makes Our Tissue Decoupage Papers Unique?
The Tissue Decoupage Papers from Whimsykel Designs stand out due to the following distinct characteristics:
Sustainability: The tissue paper is made from 100% recycled materials, making it a responsible and environmentally friendly option.
Eye-Catching Designs: The use of a four-color digital printing process, complemented by an opaque white ink base, allows our eye-catching designs to come alive.
Limited Quantity: Each of our digital designs are exclusive and produced in smaller quantities, ensuring that each design truly becomes a unique work of art in the hands of the artist. Whether you're a seasoned furniture artist or crafter looking to add a special touch to your projects, our tissue decoupage papers are a perfect choice.
It is recommended to use a white or light colored background color for the paper to be vibrant. Using other background colors will make it less visible. You can use various kinds of mediums or varnish to adhere the paper, however we strongly recommend a quality decoupage medium such as Paint Couture Decoupage Medium Matte or Paint Couture Decoupage Medium Shine.
